I'm more of a Ferrari fan myself, but I'd just like to see anyone stop Red Bull. They've made qualifiying so boring now. You can always tell that one of them will finish on pole every single time.LFC_Grunners wrote:cheesy wrote:Why do they have a break at this time of the season? It seems so pointless and the season had been building up.
Red Bull were suddenly starting to lose their spell of dominance, but they've now got a few weeks to find what was going wrong and fix it. When the drivers return, Vettel will probably dominate again.
The breaks to give the teams time to put new updates on their cars e.t.c. They've had half a season to find out where they are falling behind so now when they come back it usually closes the pack a bit and hopefully Mclaren can pull something out of the bag to stop the Red Bulls.

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
well the break is for the crews and driver to have break also. working in f1 is very physical long and draining job. i think u are just extra angry because there is also no football currently yet! so makes things seem even more boringer
i also dislike when team reach Q3 and dont even bother setting time to save tyres....complete bitch move

Yeah considering they are travelling to different countries every other week, and when they arn't they are workin on getting the cars quicker, it's a well earnt break imo. I always prefer to 'second half' of the season aswell.

Even if the races are open, it will still be relatively boring, as Vettel has all but sealed the championship anyway.

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
Been looking forward to the F1 returning for 3 straight weeks then ended up falling asleep in the second session
Hope Hamilton can win tommorow Spa is already a brilliant race so I can't wait to see what it will be like with all the new stuff
Also where's the DRS zone? I think it would be best if it was at the straight after the hill climb

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
5 place grid penalty for Mal, peanuts.
I only just watched qualy, I Sky+d it cos I went out. Come home, watched Liverpool then this.
2nd is brilliant though. Button again Showing why he shouldn't be in a McLaren even if it was a misunderstanding. It was either gonna be that or the car somehow is completely different from Practise again, prick.

bruno senna is a fucking bitch learn to drive fucker what a waste for jaime to be ruin by that stupid brasilian
m not button fan either but he has good pace lately . he did good race
maldonado never gets respect from anyone because hes a paydriver even though he won gp2 last season but that incident make him even more hated from hamilton fan boys but anyways hamilton cannot complain about crash to much with kobayashi, just a racing incident. if any other driver they would of submitted to hamilton on the corner and let him through but not mr banzai
schumacher driver of the day

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
About that Lewis crash, I think he only has himself to blame. There's no way Kobayashi could have let him go onto his racing line without driving onto the grass and losing a shit load of time. Lewis was just being a greedy cunt, could have broke late at the bend but no he had to get right in front of him.

Re: Formula 1/ Walcotts thread.
to me he underestimated kobayashi.he did not even look into mirror so he probably assume kobayashi lack cajones to stand up to him
never underestimate the japanese animal still the most brave driver in grid
