I did after you mentioned it earlier.
After close analysis, I find that the 20p has a more polished edge, wheres the 50p is more sharp and straight.
I would certainly agree with that analysis. Good work inspector Pip.
Have you noticed that a 5p is simply a smaller version of a 10p coin?

Yes! Took me quite a bit to figure it out. I was a bit unsure at first that the distance between the lines at the side of the coin were the same.

Quite remarkable the amount of planning has went into coin production.

Agreed? Have you ever noticed that the Austalian 5 cent is slightly thicker than a 5p by 0.000000002m? Fascinating to say the least.

Unfortunately I have never seen an Australian 5 cent coin.
I do have some euros and cents in my room but alas, they are not very similar to any UK coins.

Re: Chat Thread
here's a question, if you took out the middle of a £2 coin, could a £1 coin fit in the hole?

If I were to compare a cent to a coin, then it would be the 1 cent with the 1p, though that is like comparing the leter Y with the number 25, there are too many differences.

Nope, the £1 coin is slighty bigger than the hole.badham21 wrote:here's a question, if you took out the middle of a £2 coin, could a £1 coin fit in the hole?

Indeed. It's worth mentioning that the €1 coin has the same colour scheme to the £2 coin though.

Egad! I must compare! I have just been comparing the Solomon dollar to the English pound note.
