I don't see what's so funny about Rangers being put out tbh. For winning the SPL we get £1million, What do you get for getting promoted from The Championship? £90million or something.

Plus both Rangers & Celtic have rookie managers, Need time to gel and build their own squads. Don't forget, Only a few years ago we were in the UEFA Cup Final. Last year we made it to the last 16, Then Edu had a shot punched off the line. So sometimes you get the decisions, Sometimes you don't. That's just football, I'm not bitter in any way. Just stating that we've no income from winning The SPL etc, we've got rookie managers etc.

The SPL is almost full of teams that are League 1/2 standard though, so why not compare them to their budgets? It's only Celtic and Rangers who are possibly Championship standard.

You shouldn't have gone out of the Champions League or the Europa League you had beatable teams. You and Celtic both have better squads than the teams you came up against. If you went out to some massive team in qualifying no one would be bothered.

You said it yourself that you have competed well in the Europa League before which makes it even more amusing that a past finalist cannot get past the qualifying rounds.

Also the managerial experience is rubbish Villas-Boas has little experience.

I was about to say this. The winners get less I think because the play-offs generate 3 games worth of TV revenue and they all get the same TV coverage in the Premiership. I'm not sure if I'm right or not.

You don't literally get handed £90m when you get promoted to the Premier League. It's spread over several years, and the wage bills at Premier League teams are massive.
