Oil Money Ballers #4: PSG Empty Oil Money Ballers #4: PSG

Post by Guest Fri Jul 29, 2011 6:26 am

First it was Chelsea, then Man City and Malaga. Now PSG are making moves with some Middle East backers.

So far they've bought - in terms if big transfers:

    Kevin Gameiro
    Momo Sissoko
    Blaise Matuidi
    Jeremy Menez
    Bisevac
    Sirigu

Rumors are that they'll be signing Pastore of 45 million soon. From what I know - admittedly little, about the defense at least.

    Sirigu
    Jaillet-Sakho-Bisevac-Tiene
    Chantome-Matuidi
    Menez-Pastore*-Nene
    Gameiro

    *If he joins.

    Another interesting project.

If Pastore chooses them over us, assuming we have actually made contact (can't trust Zamparini and the Palermo people) then I'll go insane.

Will have to keep an eye on them. Would love to see a French team making big noises in Europe again.

They have been linked with so many big name players, Taraabt as well. They could become a true force again, maybe turn out good in not just the Cup Laughing

I think Sirigu will be only 2nd choice, because I just saw that they bought another keeper, Nicolas Douchez, who was given the #1 shirt.
The wages must be immense there if players like Sirigu go there to sit on the bench eek
Probably they will fight it out though

It begs the question... Why doesn't Shakhtar make more big name transfers? They are richer than some of these clubs combined.

Wait until QPR establish themselves in the Premier League! They'll spend big money then.

I'm not talking about Man City amounts here, I am talking about not being afraid to overspend to get their man type spending. It would be foolish to think QPR won't be spending some money now they are in the Premier League.

I knew it was in shit but not that bad. Surprised What's going on?

@Polska: I doubt it. Their owners are milking every penny they can from the fans now they're in the Premier League.

Perhaps... And now that I think about it, they and Dynamo Kiev (owned by Ukrainian Government Laughing) buy any decent youngster from the other Ukrainian clubs...
