Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Would any one here risk going with the same team for Le Arse? It's worked well but even without Fabregas we don't want to get dominated in the middle. They could have a 3 man midfield of Nasri, Wilshere and Ramsey, that'll be extremely difficult to live with when we have Cleverley and Anderson, even though they've started the season really well.

You have a 3 man midfield anyway. Rooney plays in it.kyro7 wrote:Would any one here risk going with the same team for Le Arse? The midfield is a difficult one. If Wilshere's fit and Nasri stays, along with Ramsey we could get fucking bossed in midfield. If Nasri leaves and Wilshere's out then my lineup will change accordingly.
Also, Welbeck was great second half but first half he was very poor. I reckon we'll probably go for the team we put out tonight, with Rio in for Evans if fit but if were SAF I'd definitely consider what I suggested. Also, I feel Cleverley behind Rooney could play the same sort of role that Silva does for City.

This midfield was supposed to be domianted by City and Spurs and we both dominated theirs. If it ain't broke then don't fix it.

De Gea looked dodgy again, good job Jones and Smalling played well otherwise he could easily have made himself look like even more of a clown.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Yes but we haven't got someone to protect our back four, that's the problem, Anderson and Cleverley are both attack minded and you'll be able to bypass our midfield too easily for my liking. If we went with Rooney as the striker, Cleverley, Anderson and Carrick in midfield, Cleverley could be more advanced in it and it'd turn into Carrick protecting with Anderson inbetween the two. Could easily have cost you 3 goals in that match, he won't always get so lucky.

Maybe he wont always make 3 mistakes in a game, I'm going to keep positive with him and hope he gets better.Jay wrote:Could easily have cost you 3 goals in that match, he won't always get so lucky.

Was impressed with Evans again. Got alot of stick last year but he's doing good again. Whole backline is doing good

Dawson just wants to touch Rooney. Anyone else see him point to his hair when he scored?

I was joking, and you're not funny.
Not really, I prefer having one of the best keepers in the world, rather than one that can't catch simple crosses and palms every other long range shot to a strikers feetRoryOB94 wrote:Jealous scousersJay wrote:Deluded Mancs

I was unimpressed by Evra Lennon beat him too easily that one time which could've easily led to a goal.
