Ivanovic or Sagna?

Who is better in your opinion? They're both quality but I think that Ivanovic is better, he's just a beast.

I won't put a poll cos I actually want to hear what you got to say rather than you just voting and then leaving the thread.

Who's better at RB

Sagna, and we've done this before quite a few times.

Ivanovic is a centre back though.

I'd say that Sagna is narrowly better. Thing is, you have to remember that Ivanovic isn't even a natural full-back.

Well Ivanovic is a CB but I think he's always been more solid than Sagna. Better in the air too. But no doubt Sagna is very consistant.

Great centre back, not even a proper right back yet he is one of/the best in the league. Also a beast at scoring headers.....

People always say Ivanovic isn't a fullback when in fact he is. He's a fullback capable of playing centre back, not the other way around. Hardly a surprise that his best performances have come from RB.

And yes, we have done this quite a few times. Only thing Sagna is better at is crossing and it's not even that much better than Ivan's.

He's quicker and a better tackler imo. Ivanovic is stronger, but Sagna times his tackles very, very well.

Besides, I did say in the underrated players thread we've done this a lot of times but you ignored it and made it anyway.

But why compare these two when one of them is a CB by trade?

He's actually a centre back naturally. Just adapted and well fitted to the RB role.

He plays both with no problem. Versatile.

Yeah, he started off as a CB but he's played RB for the majority of his professional career.
