what grenade said and also because Chamakh was starting when RVP was injured at the beginning of last season, he got regular football and scored a few goals, when RVP was fit he was a sub so he lost form, even Bendtner was preferred to him as a sub sometimes
Still a quality player when fully fit, and we got him for free.

Liverpool have a very good chance here. The Arsenal defence struggles to cope on the best of days, so if Downing can get crosses into Carroll, he will have a very good chance to score.

A tricky player like Suarez will probably be able to find a lot of space and he will certainly be a threat as always.

Arsenal also have quite a few players injured, meaning it will be an uphill task for them. Because they have home advantage on their side, I think they will sneak a 1-1 draw.

Downing will cross to Carroll, yes but Carroll won't hit the target. He'll head it over the bar as usual.

He's too wasteful and refuses to actually make anything happen. I don't think there is a defender in the PL, Championship, etc that is actually scared of seeing Maro on the pitch the same as a Van Persie, Drogba, or Rooney.

I'd happily start the game with 10 men than Chamakh starting up front.

Gonna be a high scoring match this. Can see another 4-4 on the horizon.

I don't know if I would say he is better than Bendtner. As shit as Bendtner is he will at least attempt a shot on goal. Also Nick does get played at wing almost as much as he does at striker. Maro won't shoot the ball to save his life. He started his Arsenal career nicely, but then just fizzled out.

Bendtner has an eye for goal unlike Chamakh who doesn't know how to turn around and face the goal, all he ever does is fancy flicks and gives the ball back to the passer. He doesn't break his neck to get in the box, when he know's he's a striker. Berbatov has a higher work rate than the giraffe. Bendtner's better than Chamakh. Chamakh also seems to forget how to jump for a header or some sort. He really needs to piss off, I'd have Arshavin up front instead of him.
