FIFA 12 Career Mode

They put a new guy in charge of sorting out the career mode and i listened to him talking on this podcast..

He comes on just after 30 minutes and basicly says last years CM was rubbish (which it was) and the new things that will be in 12.

You can talk to the press for big games and stuff.

Sounds like it'll be a lot more like FM.

This guy seems to know what hes on about on how to make it actually interesting rather than SHIT like fifa 11.

Best MM mode was either Fifa 06 or Fifa 07.

MM/CM is always shit

It does sound really good, but he must of said "Platform to build on" 10 times, and on every subject, so another year of that shit

Hopefully he adds co-op mode online =/

Listened to all of it, these guys go great together

I'm liking the sounds of most of it, the scouting sound great, and the option to buy after loans was key, buying was so shit in Fifa 11.

They've only got the press thing in for the big games.

Hopefully the fixtures are sorted out. You always get the big teams (Premier League at least) in the space of a month.

I heard, I guess it is better as like he said it would then become repetitive. And certainly, that was so shit, you would have like 4 months straight without any big teams

I'd usually end up facing them in October, and end up getting sacked after the first performance check of the season. FIFA 11 CM was just so poorly designed.

Those player messages will get annoying after a while. Aswell as most features, FM press conferences get boring as fuck. I'm looking forward to an improved transfer market. I want them to make a fuss about big signings instead of shitty headlines. Youth academy sounds good. Imagine if they had real players from the academt

I thought this, I was thinking that even if a 41 year old keeper, who is your fourth choice isn't he playing he will be sending you a message Talk about having a hard time keeping a squad happy.

It was so annoying on FIFA11 when you couldn't buy people after you had them on loan, cos 'they had just joined this team so he won't be released'

As long as they fix the simple things, and things that actually happen it should be fine. And storylines, every team was the same

By that I just mean repetitive, you can go to West Brom, buy Van Persie, win the title and just do the same thing. Now you have decisions to make that influence things, players will not sign if you are not doing well, press conferences, better scouting and a squad balance.

So instead of selling deadwood and buying one to two £30m players sounds like you may actually need to replace those players you've sold properly with the right amount of players. That change to fatique aswell sounds interesting.



Sounds so much better than FIFA 11 already. Might actually be able to get through a few seasons on FIFA 12

Commentators have a better understanding of team situations, so if a team has done well they touch on it.

Youth scouting, you can track someone, see how good they may become, determine where they could play.

You can buy after loans.

Players become unhappy if they think they should be playing, the results in messages.

You can have press conferences for big games, which has a little impact on the game.

That is all I can remember right now

I hate how you are always picked, and then have 0 stamina. Fuck that, they need to rest players, then I will play.
