Re: Hulk...
How the fuck's he overrated.
36 goals and 21 assists in 51 games last season, he's fucking class.

Re: Hulk...
If he's like anything like the other South American strikers playing in Portugal he wouldn't make much of a difference.

Re: Hulk...
he is over rated hes greedy as fuck always tries to dribble past a player and smash one in, most of the time he ends up being tackled by the first guy, hes fast as fuck though and built well, like the hulk, insanely powerful left foot.

Running straight into a defender most of the time does, okay, most of what I saw of him was during the 2nd half of the season where he apparently wasnt as good but whatever, I bet ive still seen more of him than the people facepalming have done. Im not saying hes shit just when people make out as though he should walk into brazils team are over rating him.

Re: Hulk...
<- Legend
Was very shocked that he didn't get called up for the Copa America yet Fred did
I think he could prove himself in a bigger league then he'd begin to get more matches for Brazil, He's only young so there's still hope for 2014

He might be for country. Falcao and Cardozo can't cut it at international level.Ricardo wrote:LOOL at idiots saying he's overrated.

Re: Hulk...
True, but Falcao and Cardozo have both had over 30 international caps which is more than enough to prove their quality at international level.Hulk's only had 3 which is basically nothing to judge from and is brilliant at club level, yet is deemed overrated by a clueless bunch.

Because the Majority of people on here think that anything outside of La Liga/EPL is full of amateur players and not even worth watching therefore Hulk's achievements to date are meaningless

I'm not sure if your joking or not but I have noticed that's the mentality of some of the people here.

I'd add Serie A to that as well though. But, if a player has played in a league outside the top 3 leagues, even if it's one of the top leagues in the world and done brilliantly people on here still say he has to prove himself and is overrated.

Just seems to me that if you compare a player from PL/Serie A/La Liga to a player in another one of those leagues people will actually consider the possibility of one of them being better than the other, whereas if you say a player from say the Portuguese or Dutch League is better than a player that plays in one of the top 3 leagues you get told that he hasn't proven himself at the top level, even if he has done brilliantly in one of the best leagues in the world and done just as well in Europe.
