Yes exactly you use the plural of fans, generalising

I used the plural because it was a few of them.
And I don't know who it was because I don't bother properly reading troll posts when I skim through pages, what's your problem with that?
You know it's Theo and Grenade stop making excuses
Whatever idc
Making excuses? Fuck off, you think I give a shit if I have to name names?
I didn't know who it was, so I didn't want to say who I thought it might be unless I made a fool of myself, since when have you known more about me than I do?

We never go for anyone who fits that criteria so the likelihood is we did not go for Downing
When have Liverpool ever gone for:
Players too good for the club
Players in champions league teams
Hazard, Alonso, Mata, Benzema, Higuain, Aguero - All fit part of that criteria, Liverpool have tried to get many high-end players and have failed so the likelihood of an approach to Mata is quite high (Rejecting you in the process)
How do you back up this claim?

Suarez was too good for his Champions League club. Same with Dirk Kuyt.Filippo Inzaghi wrote:You have to look at past transfers/transfer attempts as a reliable indicator. When do Arsenal ever go for:Jay wrote:Fonseca wrote:Jay wrote:Fonseca wrote:

Exactly, Liverpool go for players in champions league teams 90% of the time they fail to get them.

Re: Downing or N'zogbia ?
Good to see Theooooos spending his summer holidays making comparison threads. Makes me feel special inside. Then again, if my club was selling their only world class players and my club's own manager confessed that we were no longer a big club, I'd be trying to keep my mind off things too.

I voted N'Zogbia by the way. He's young and French; therefore world class.

I couldn't really give a shit what your opinions on Liverpool are, try and wind up someone else.
How is me saying that we didn't play defensive football relevant to this?

N'zogbia is the league's most successful dribbler isn't he ?
It's hilarious watching these pool fans trying to annoy Theoo but continuously failing with their shit bait

Re: Downing or N'zogbia ?
I think Downing is definitely the better player, but with N'Zogbia going for around £8m less you could argue what the better deal was.

Re: Downing or N'zogbia ?
Downing although he is overrated at 20mill, still think N'Zogbia would have kept us up if we had decided to agree his extra £10,000 wage demands

Seems pretty 50/50 then.
Downing is a much better crosser and thats the reason Liverpool bought him.

Re: Downing or N'zogbia ?
N'Zogbia for me. Downing is better crosser but I like the fact that N'Zogbia can score from dead ball situations and is good at taking people on. As good as Downing is at crossing N'Zogbia is not terrible either, he just likes to come inside a lot more it seems.
