You're missing the point. Joining up with other club supporters to get behind your country is completely different. Nobody gives a crap about a pointless All Stars game, if it involved rivals fans getting together before a week before a bitterly competitive season i wouldn't be suprised if people went just to cause trouble.

I think so, what's the point of CS and Super Cups anyway? An all star game is a pretty nice event for all, rarely in US sport has it caused trouble, fans and players usually enjoy it.. I think it's a good idea.

all star games are based on that season in all US sports. For instance if a player who is one of the best in the game is hurt most of the year then comes back he wont make the team because there will be more deserving players.
And I want to see Wilshere, Parker, Adam, every club should be represented or its just boring London vs Manchester/Liverpool that only people from those places would care about.

In the case of an all-star game, they're are lining up in a domestic competition. Anyway, I don't think it's a problem. It's just funny to think about. We have all-star games in all the major sports in the states and they go just boringly fine.
