    Community Shield


    Rio Ferdinand said on his twitter that it would be better to have a all star team play each other than a Community Shield and have like a North VS South i think this is a good idea and certinly should be looked into by the FA probelry being played at Wembley and all ticket sales go to charity

    Leighton Baines would have at least be on the bench. He was as good as any Liverpool player last year.

    Can you imagine if a bunch of Man United, Liverpool, Everton etc, fans turned up in the same stand of Wembley to support the All Stars team? There would defo be trouble amongst them.

    This already happened in 2007, 2009 and 2010.

    An interesting proposal I saw from Rio was to have Premier League Champions Vs. Best of the Rest XI, I think that would be better than North Vs South.

    In the case of an all-star game, they're are lining up in a domestic competition. Anyway, I don't think it's a problem. It's just funny to think about. We have all-star games in all the major sports in the states and they go just boringly fine.
