Realised that the memory unit is built in and cannot be removed. I will have to wait until my new box comes along and try to start up my old one using it's new power brick. Then put my memory data onto a stick. If it doesn't work, I'm fucked. Then I have no option but to repair the console...leaving me wondering why I bought a new one.

Can't you just buy one of them memory sticks, then move everything onto it then plug it into the new one?
