Why not just let the players play in Basketball vests and let the managers call random time-outs too.

    Erm.. Yah they do.

Football is the #1 sport in Arabic countries. Don't think just because they don't produce talent that it's not popular there.

    Third time.

I think we should just have quarters instead. 22 1/2 minute quarters.

Sounds good. More time for advertisements and for me to get some food without missing any action.

One of my brother's good friends is in the Air Force and stationed in Doha, Qatar. He has been there for a month. 100 degrees in the shade, 125 heat index. "why would they want a world cup here?"

How is corruption a problem? I mean the next world cup is in Brazil, then Russia and Qatar. Perhaps it is the pattern.

Well this would actually work rather well to deal with the heat BUT now is not the time to change one of the most basic rules of football. If you do this only for Qatar 2022 you look foolish and that World Cup is not really legitiment any more. If Blatter and the other people who matter really want to make this change then I think they need it by the 2014 World Cup or right after. Also if they want to have people take this serious then it will have to be applied to the various national league across the globe. The only fair way to try this would to invite someone for each FA around the world come together and vote on it with a simple majority wins.

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

How the fuck do you know have you ever been there? Kuwait isn't that far away from Qatar and it's loved over here, hell Watar Qatar have a proper league and they invest in their football so guess how it would be like over there.

It's great for the region that the WC is being played there, it'll promote the sport more and catipult watching football live from a minor hobby to the primary transnational pass time for the region.
