Never even ordered the stuff I bookmarked.
I get motivated for like a day. Then can't be arsed.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Been sick all day, but was able to watch the replay of the Sociedad/Gijon match. Agirretxe with a brace. Xabi Preito beasting as always, assist and creation for another goal. Martinez sent off on a dumb challenge in the box. De las Cuervas with the PK, but he deserved a goal, he looked good all game.

Can see the reasoning behind it. There aren't really that many leaders in the Argentine squad - Zanetti won't be involved for much longer(not in the current squad) and the Mascherano captaincy didn't really work out in Copa América and the World Cup.
He's not really a traditional leader but I guess Sabella wants him to grow into it or just lead by example. I think building the team around Messi is more important than the captaincy.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Messi is good choice for captain, bar Zanetti they have no one with leader skills...Argentina has forever lacked a leader after no Riquleme.
I want to see Messi play CAM role infront of two other strikers for Argentina, those other forwards being Lopez and Higuain
Sabella should retry 3412 used by Argentina in 06 WC.

Zanetti - Burdisso - Garay
Jonas - Mascherano - Lucho - Di Maria
Messi
Higuain - Lisandro

Really crazy stuff going on there. Stay safe, and hopefully it doesn't cause the x-billion dollars in damage they are predicting.
