Re: Eternal Witcher's FM Thread
Lost 2-0 on aggregate. Now to focus on a top four finish. Still ahead of the rest of the pack, but Barcelona and Real are in a league of their own right now.

Top four is looking likely, top three possible, top two? surely not.

Re: Eternal Witcher's FM Thread
How to bounce back from being unceremoniously dumped out of the Euro cup? The young but talented manager Van Damme had just the answer as Sporting were blown away by a masterful performance from Athletic Bilbao. Just another demonstration of the immense progress the 19 year old Iker Muniain has made in his second season under Van Damme. In the post-match interview, the manager had but this to say. " ".

No. My real name is difficult to pronounce or remember, and it would just look strange if people on here start using it.

Re: Eternal Witcher's FM Thread
The gap between third and fourth has been closed to six points following Athletic Bibao drawing and then losing in the space of a week. Notably Valencia have a game in hand. However the pressure has been eased on Van Damme with the realisation that his team will have qualified for the champion's league regardless of the remaining fixtures. This has been labeled as the stuff of fairy tales, with such a unique club gaining success in the midst of the adversities that come with this uniqueness. Thousands of elated supporters sung praises of the talented manager outside his mud-hut. According to reports, two days on, they are still there chanting his name. Meanwhile Van Damme has been spotted in a nightclub in LA.

Bought Arteta for 10 mil at 76k per week. Martinez had that match the highest earner clause. Doesn't matter, as I'm going for broke this season.

Athletic Bilbao have not yet tasted victory in the new season. One drawn, one lost. Their opponents? Barcelona and Real Madrid. The next opponent, Arsenal, in their first Champions League game. Manager Van Damme would be looking to get his European campaign off to a great start with the win here tonight. More on that later.

New save, but might as well keep it in this thread.
Mission- Pretty much what I couldn't be asked to do with Bilbao.

Lost Bolton away, lost West Ham at home, beat Blackpool away. Poor, but I have time. As you can see I have bought greeeat players, using the 48 month technique. Targeting Euro qualification for this season.

Lost 4 in 8 league games, yet I still manage to pull this off. Inconsistent as fuck.

Re: Eternal Witcher's FM Thread
This is just surreal, it's not as if I'm paying various clubs every month for the next 3 1/2 years for the players I bought earlier. And now I get even more to spend.

I currently have 7 strikers, each with the ability to play as a striker. Can't even offload some of the buggers.

Re: Eternal Witcher's FM Thread
Just a case of the new Man City overcoming the old one. Spent 182 million in total in the two transfer windows. A lot has gone into investing in future prospects mind. But still, that 48 month trick feels like cheating in a big way. But I can't help it.
