Do UK Lads Drink Many American Imported Beers?

I'm quite fond of imported beers, but we have some top notch breweries here in the States. Any of you UK fellas fancy American imported beers?

Is Budweiser or Stella American?

No, I much prefer European imported beers. American ones tend to be quite sweet.

Budweiser is American, not sure about Stella.

Stella is Belgian. I think the Stella you get in the UK is brewed in the UK though.

Dark beers are what I prefer. I can't stand the watered down stuff like Keystone, Coors, etc. Budweiser I can handle every now and then. Love a bottle of Späten Dopplebock, Newcastle, Guinness, Becks. Most imports are pretty basic here, but you can find some good stuff like the Späten if you're willing to spend $10-15 for a six pack.

German beers are best, drink as many as you like - no hangover.

Miller is definitely American.

I have recently been researching and some of the better beers tend to be neither American nor British.

I know the company is, but the company that owns them is British I think.

Just looked it up and it says that Miller and Coors have merged. I know that Coors is an American company.

My favourite beer right now is Scottish anyway, so I don't need to worry about imports

Magners or Strongbow?

To be fair from the beer I have had, it isn't too good, but I have only had shitty commercial beers, I have been researching some interesting Germanic Beer, such as Fruli, fruit beer, sounds interesting.

Also, Milk Stout sounds like something I wouldn't mind trying.

Yeah Magners for me too. Strongbow isn't nice but drinkable unlike beer.

Pear Magners is my first choice.

Pear Magners is good...better than Bulmers.....but usually you don't get much choice in bars/pubs etc.

I'd go for Kopparberg/Rekorderlig if they were always available.....Sweden
