I just saw the highlights; Khan sucked balls. Laughing I hope this means that he'll stop talking so much shit.

    Khan is the real deal.

He just has a bitch chin and he thinks he's J.C. Chavez but he's not. He wants to go up there and exchange against fighters but whenever he meets anyone with punching power he gets sat on his ass. You'd think Roach would tell the kid to jab and move.

I think people make out his chin to be worse than what it actually is, most of the division would have probably stayed down from that first knockdown in the 3rd. Khan is a great boxer but when it's most important for him to use the skills he has (after he's just been floored) he thinks he should get up and trade punches. He deserved what he got for not staying away from Garcia for the next couple of rounds.

People saying his career is over are way off, Khan's only had two real defeats, one of which was a freak KO when he was inexperienced. He will still win multiple world titles, probably at a couple of different weights.

    Predictions for tonight's big fights?

Martinez to beat Chavez jr. and Canelo to beat Lopez.

Think Chavez jr. might surprise people though, but he'll ultimately lose. Hoping for an upset though.

Chavez jr, and Canelo wins. If either fight is close, there is no way they will let them lose.

I wish both Chavez and Martinez could lose. After all that trash talk man. What a bunch of jerks they both come off as. In contrast with tonight's other big match, Canelo and Joselito are class acts.

Ugh, the Canelo-Lopez was stopped by Joe Cortez. Canelo battered him, dropping him in 3 straight rounds but Lopez still had a little fight on him. But I guess it was for Lopez's own good still though.

In the other fight Martinez pretty much boxing circles around Chavez.

    Things going as expected.

Don't agree with people saying it was a very good fight (Jr v Martinez). The last round was great, so it made the fight as a whole decent, but if that last round wouldn't have been that way it would have been one of the worst fights in a long time.

Yeah, I think it was awful too. Jr. got spanked, I missed the last few rounds. I turned it off after Jr was being a cunt in his corner.

His dad sent a guy to give him some advice and Jr was like, "ya ya ya ya ya."

Basically, "ya no estes chingando." Figured that if he's not going to listen to the advice of one of the greatest boxers of all time, there is no hope for him now. Laughing

Part of me wanted Jr to fight but I knew he was going to get schooled. I expected a better showing though.

Canelo the real deal though. Absolutely battered Joselito. That fight was more enjoyable despite that though, Joselito showed a lot of heart. Really I wish both fighters could of won. Always preferred the respectful fighters over the loud mouths.

Please tell me someone else saw the Manny Pascquiao fight? Amazing stuff, that knockout just dropped my jaws to the ground, so sudden and brutal. The replays of the KO punch is amazing. And the crowd got real electric. Definitely giving this division another go. Shit, still giving me chills. Ended too soon but was intense right from the word go in the second round.

What a punch. Was rooting for Manny, love his personality, but that would have ended anyone's night. Did open himself really badly though, practically just stuck his face for the opponent to have a shot.

Now we will never get Pac - Mayweather, which tbh might not have been as good as Pac - JMM, but shit, would've been a good spectacle.

Have they faced before? Is this weight division better than the others? Do you normally watch it? I just wanna share the love of the fight.

The whole moment where they crowd around his unmoving body, I just was speechless. Fuck this shit is so dramatic on a good fight.

Apologies, I'm in a shambles of a mental state. I'm starting on a sentence and then I get sucked in by another.
Just want to know if this particular class (Manny, Mayweather...?) is the best division for entertainment.
That shit was just so sudden, ice cold. I want so more like this. Preferrably with Manny fighting.
Do you normally watch much boxing, finally?

By class do you mean level of skill or weight class?

I think right now the best fighting is between the super light weight and super middleweight, because heavyweight is really down this era, but that's just me. As for the fighters, check out some pound for pound lists for the best individuals, I watch boxing but not as much as I used to, major events are too few and far between and the heavyweight division is very underwhelming, so I usually catch a few fighters like JMM, Pac, Bradley, Mayweather, Ward, etc.

Could you let me know when Manny is in another fight? I like him already. Clumsy finish aside, that dude is lightning quick. You could PM me whenever something big is on, pls?

Heavy weight is overhyped and slow, and boring. This adding of speed and technique makes Welterwight seems far better, that shit was dope.
