Well Mexico's sub-22 beat Ecuador yesterday. It can't go that bad.
Besides what does that say about Ecuador chances.

Re: 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup
Scored the tying goal, did pretty well.
Yesterday was mostly the Gio, and Barrera show though. Everyone played pretty well except for those few minutes where the team became retarded and let the US go up by two goals.
I'll admit I felt like dying at that point.
Reynoso made his debut and what a debut too, was a fucking beast in the air, US couldn't do shit, Agudelo shat his pants just by looking at him. Fuck all the Reynoso haters, they have to shut up now, at least for a while.
Eres grande capitan, I love that ugly bastard.

Our defending was terrible yesterday, it didn't help that Howard's performance was god awful. Props to Gio and Barrera for torching us all night.
Also, glad to see Adu getting some minutes and taking advantage of it.

Re: 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup
Forgot to mention Torrado and Castro beasting the midfield. Who would of thought two 5 five foot nothings from the Mexican league could beast two European based monster men? I know who, me.
By the way, this has to be said, worst mistake de la Torre has made in his short Mexico career was playing Salcido yesterday. Clearly one of our best players but he was in no condition to play yesterday, we might as well have started with 10 and half men. He wasted a substitution and then when Rafa got injured we ended up using two substitutions before half time, that could of really cost us yesterday, luckily it didn't but Chepo probably learned a big lesson yesterday.
Oh also have to admit Torres Nilo shut me up yesterday, I don't have much confidence in him because of how he plays for Tigres but he came in yesterday and was solid, did make one vital mistake when Dempsey stole the ball from him in our own half and ran for goal but besides that he did little wrong.

Re: 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup
Torres Nilo has been pretty solid throughout the tournament, especially yesterday. I think if he continues this way, he could be the one to step in after Salcido leaves.
