Its like you saying Thiago > Fabregas. Modric > Fabregas. But the fact you talk about Barcelona players all the time gives us pity on you.. you have lost the love for Liverpool and jumped ships.

and Fabregas bottled it more than anyone vs Barcelona. He was like a 12th player for Barcelona.

Maybe because he was injured and had to get subbed off because of it scratch

Yeah, it was so unbearable that he had to backheel to Barcelona and gift them a goal Suspect

Even forgetting that, his passing was just generally terrible throughout. He could have been injured but it's not really an acceptable excuse.

It was his hamstring. Course his passing would have been off.

    Wait wait wait wait.

Now, when I seen the line-up, I told you Arse fans that Wenger was taking a big risk playing an injured player.

Your reaction: If he's passed fit then he's fine to play.

So yeah...fuck that excuse, you can't have it both ways.

He did pass fit, but obviously he wasn't because he felt the injury from pretty much the start of the game.

    Didn't happen.

Plus.. why can't we have it both ways? If Fabregas is passed fit to play then he plays. If then when he is on the field its quite obvious he's not playing his usual cover every blade of grass and dictating our play then there is something wrong.

Yeah and I said you were being morons for risking your star player's health for the sake of one game.

Mal definitely told me that Fabregas was fine to play if he was declared fit, not sure who else did.

Because the passing him fit was obviously a pile of shit as I said back then, you simply don't recover from a hamstring injury that quick.

You neither us don't have a clue what tests he did before the game or how bad his injury was. All we got was "he passed a fitness test". So naturally we want him to play.

Then don't use his injury as an excuse for a shit performance.

I'm not. I think he was injured and I think he was shit. The performance isn't excused by injury though.

So you are saying a player can play just as good while be injured?

Smalling and Jones were alright not at fault imo.

Is it only me that found it odd that the English goalkeeper wasn't taller than most of the squad? Always expect the camera to go a little up when they pass goalkeepers during the national theme song in the beginning but... fix it fix it fix it !

No i'm saying if he steps onto the pitch then tough shit, you're judged by your performance.

I don't think so. Same way the people saying "Oh but Gerrard was on painkillers so it's ok he underperformed for well over a season"

Errr no. Like Gerrard, Cesc chose to play injured so can expect to be criticised for his performance.

We know Cesc played badly.. he can be criticised for it you like, but it was because he was injured. Neutral

Why does he need an 'excuse'? The explanation for him playing badly is that he was injured, that's the end of it. What purpose does attributing blame to him for his performance serve? It seems completely pointless to me.
