Adams was never at any point in his career, ever better than Desailly. Don't try to argue otherwise? This is the first forum ive ever come across that would of even suggested the two were equals let alone Adams being better. Desailly was a dual Champions League, World Cup, EURO and league winning player and captain of one of the greatest club sides every put together. A player far too good for Chelsea, but good enough for the challenge because that's probably the only reason why i'd even fathom you thinking Adam's was better. Desailly is one of greatest defenders in history and revolutionized a modern game with his ability to dribble his way into space and to create chances for his team with his passing but also keep a defence intact.
Comparing the two would be like comparing Terry Butcher with Alessandro Nesta.
