West Bromwich Albion await David Vaughan decision

ALBION today hope to find out whether David Vaughan will move to The Hawthorns or opt for Sunderland.

Both clubs have held talks with the midfielder, who has rejected the chance to stay at Blackpool.

The 28-year-old goes on holiday today and should make a decision soon - maybe even as early as today.

It was initially reported he was favouring a move to the Midlands, not least as his wife’s family come from near Crewe.


But Sunderland have put together a fairly attractive package to try to entice him to Wearside.
