Just saw that. WTH.
Haven't played badly at all, but can't use the possession well. No ideas in the final 3rd.

Hernandez missed a penalty in the 4th minute. Looked really anxious for the rest of the match, wasn't able to get at the end of anything. Then Guardado scores, and that pretty much opened the flood gates. Every attacker ended up scoring after that. Hernandez involved in three of them. #redemption.

Still 0x0 in Panama. Not many chances in the second half for either side. Did Jamaica convert?

Late free kick for Honduras just outside the box on the left. Honduras player went down looking for the contact, but the Panamanian gave him the opportunity to earn the free kick.

Pacey free kick is just over the bar, though the keeper was right there anyways, had it been on target.

3 minutes of stoppage in Panama.
Game. Finishes Panama 0x0 Honduras.
That means Panama and Canada on 10, and Honduras on 8 right?

Re: 2014 World Cup Qualifying thread
Draw between Guatemala and USA means both move on, knocking Jamaica out. Apparently, a win for USA is best for Jamaica. Not sure how the tie breakers go, but that's what I read.
If Guatemala and Jamaica win, Jamaica would need to make up three goals in GD to progress over USA. So that would be like a 1-0 win for Guat, and 3-0 for Jamaica to go through. Definitely plausible.

If we beat GUA and you beat A&B by 3 goals you're tied on points and GD, like steve said, don't know what the next tie breaker is.

3 clear goals and hope for a US win is what I'm seeing.
Calling a 0x0 draw now.

Oh, we have same GD and goals scored as Guatemala. So you need a win and three goals made up on either team to advance.

I'm torn right now. I want Jamaica to get through because both my parents are from Jamaica, but at the same time I don't because it will entice Hoilett to go there more if they do.

If you're counting Shelton as our one man, then it's more like a half man team.

Still a scrub, though that says a lot about our strikers in general. I want Ricky Fuller back in the squad.
Bibi though.

Re: 2014 World Cup Qualifying thread
Jamaica should really just speed abuse everyone. Put Mattocks and Richards and Shelton (or Johnson) up top, and have defenders play long balls over the top for 90 minutes. Then if you had a couple of good midfielders, they could clean up the cleared balls to cycle the ball back in.

Probably but it so predictable though. When the US game came in the last Gold Cup that tactic was shut down with ease.
