Who exactly does that benefit? You're not going to get someone opening the train doors and going "Alright mate, I'll have some banana's, a few spices and what's that at the back there? Pears? Yeah sound mate, chuck those in as well."

The people on the train don't buy anything. It's just a market set up directly ontop of a train track. Once the train goes past the stores re-open.

Are they just trading with each other? Would make sense then I guess cause I can't see that place being very active.

They must not get many trains going past then, unless they're having to do that every half an hour.

I wouldn't buy any veg that has just had a filthy train with all it's fumes pass about 2 inches over the top of it for a good 20 seconds.
