Manchester United sign Ashley Young.

Not sure if I really want him here. But everyone said the same thing about Valencia now he's in everyone's first XI. I believe Fergie knows what he's doing.

Do you really need him when you have Giggs, Valencia and Nani?

Giggs is ancient now, I suppose they could use someone Young.

He'll play one last season, however he could go on for another 3 seasons as long as he's healthy, crazy I know but that's Ryan Giggs for you, brilliant athlete. But I'm just putting myself in Youngs position, If I were him I'd think twice about going to a club with 3 first team wingers.

In previous Summers it was £25m to Madrid

But er....with only 1 year on his contract I think £15m is the limit. If he had more I'd say it's a very good deal.

I think he'll probably have to compete with Valencia for a spot. Nani is a undisputed started. Seems like a good buy with Giggs nearing the end.

It's not £20m don't know where you got that one from. The price is around £15m, both Liverpool and Manchester United have had their bids accepted respectively and it's now down to the player. Media etc... reporting Young will move to Man Utd and not Liverpool. That's all there is so far.

I haven't seen Young play that well at club level for ages, Downing has outshone him.

Sounds like it's not undisputed then, and Fergie did get his tactics wrong but it wasn't by picking the wrong wingers.

Don't see where he'll fit in with Rooney, Hernandez, Nani and Valencia.

I guess Nani, Valencia and Young will all have to be rotated.

I believe it was, Valencia did nothing on attack and was a liability on defense. Nani would have been able to create more than Valencia, in fact he did once he came on in the last 20 mins.
