With the 2010/2011 season over we now look forward to the next one.

The Old Firm are likely to be in another close race for the title like in previous seasons.

Will any of the leagues smaller sides be able to break their dominance?

What will it be like off the pitch this season after the referee strike and controversy that has surrounded Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

    I hope so.

It all depends on how McCoist does as Rangers manager.

If he is a managerial flop then it will be the perfect chance for us to capatalise and win the title with relative ease.

Puncheon will sign for Rangers, fail, and Celtic will win the title.

The new Rangers owner has promised the fans lots of investment.

I think that they thought that meant they were going to start signing some top quality players.

I'll need to see who signs for Rangers and obviously how we perform under McCoist before I make any predictions. One thing I'm slightly worried about is whether the team will have that same sort of grit and ruthless streak we had under Walter.
I don't think any of the other sides are good enough to challenge unless the level of the Old Firm drops, likes of Dundee Utd are a decent side on the ball but if you pester them and put them under pressure they just seem to cave in.

I agree that nobody will be able to put up a good enough challenge for the Old Firm.

I think the fact that if Celtic hadn't finished one point of the title but 20 points of the title then we would have still easily finished in 2nd place.

The gulf between the Old Firm and the rest of Scottish football is enormous and sohws no signs of decreasing.

The laws of mathematics probably point towards The Celtics winning next season. In the last 100 years there can't be more than two or three occasions where a team has won four titles in a row.

Well there was 9 in a row but apart from that you might actually be right.

Have there been any occasions apart from the two 9IAR's?

I'm not sure. Celtic won 5 in a row one time but that was just over 100 years ago.

Had a quick look and it seems there has been one occasion outside the 9IARs back in the 1920s. There were quite a few just over 100 years ago with Rangers and Celtic taking turns at 4 for around 20 years.

    Maths don't lie.

I would like that. In the English league, nobody has ever won more than 3 in a row. Several teams have won 3 consecutive titles but there are none that have won more.

How will you be fine as long as McCoist is manager?

He has no managerial experience and appointing him as manager is a massive gamble for you.
