I know it is probably far to early, but, with this season pretty much done and dusted (at the top anyway) the majority of members on this forum will now be looking towards next season. So, what do you think?

Is there really any need? So many things can happen over the summer... Another Arab could buy a team and employ Mourinho which would automatically make them title challengers.

I think Liverpool will be definite contenders for next year the way they are finishing off this year with a bunch of ineperienced young guys playing in their midfield and back four. Besides that, it's too early for predictions.

Would be better if this was done during pre season.

I can't see us doing worse next year than this year, considering we'll probably buy a fair few players once we get CL football. Depends if Tevez leaves and how we cope with that too I suppose.

Man City can only forget about Tevez is Dzeko adapts quickly, otherwise, Tevez is still Man City most important attacker.luke. wrote:Zzonked wrote:I can't see us doing worse next year than this year, considering we'll probably buy a fair few players once we get CL football. I reckon at least 2 good players. Winger and defender. If we sell Tevez I expect we'll go out for a top quality striker.

I think we can play well without Tevez, like you said Silva is quality, has carried us at some points by being our only creative influence. No denying Tevez is brilliant though, we need someone who can finish the chances he does.

Early but I might as well do mine
1). Chelsea - if they make the right signings I can see them winning another title.
2). Man United - think they will lose a few big games but will do very well in the league.
3). Liverpool - if Kenny gets a contract and Liverpool play how they are now, with more signings they could see themselves in contention for the title. If the season started since Kenny took over they would be 3rd, and they also managed to hold Arsenal at the Emirates with 2 inexperienced defenders and Jonjo Shelvey.
4). Arsenal - I'm predicting a strong start to the season but a slip up in the middle. If they sign more players including a goalkeeper then they could be in the race for the title.
5). Manchester City - Good side but the team chemistry needs to improve. When the owners first took over Mancini basically bought a fantasy football team who did not know how to play together. That has improved and I think they will do well but lose the big games. I can defiantly see them doing well in the next few seasons though.
6). Tottennham - Have had a good 2 seasons but don't see them anywhere higher than 5th, especially if Bale goes.

Think it's close enough to suggest that Arsenal will bottle it at some point.

The season isn't in it's climax yet.

We don't even have a title champion this season and you are asking for predictions for the next season? Anything can happen over the summer. But for the sake of answering the question...
- Manchester United will be title contenders as always. They have the best chance of winning it next season.
- Chelsea will be contesting it as always and will have a better chance if they can make some younger player signings.
- Manchester City can contest the title if they get their team chemistry right. Maybe a CL position will help them in getting better signings.
- Arsenal will bottle it again under Wegner's failed policy. I don't care if he is the greatest manager of your club's history. Quit living in the past and worry about the future unless you are pleased with ending outside the top 2 every season and being trophyless.
- Spurs will not be title contenders but maybe challenging for a CL spot. If they make it, it will be at either Arsenal or ManCity's expense.
- Liverpool is a tough one to call. Could either end up fighting for a CL spot or challenging the title. I will just have to wait and see this one.

1). Arsenal - I honestly think they could finally do it, hopefully with the right signings.
2). Chelsea - I wanted to put them first, but it depends on whether they change manager or not.
3). Manchester United - I don't think they will be as big as a threat as they have been in previous seasons.
4). Liverpool - Probably the toughest choice to make, but they look extremely promising now.
5). Manchester City - Will end up very close to 4th, but Mancini will get sacked half way through the season when they crash out of the Champions League group stages and then put the team on a bad run of form.
6). Tottenham - I can't see anything special from them.
7th-17th - Meh
18).
19). - Undecided yet.
20).
this will be one of the post we look back at and laugh

1). Chelsea - Only if they keep Ancelotti, Expect Abramovich to spend big in the summer
2). Man U - It's Man fucking U! Cant really see them any lower than 2nd
3). Man C - If they attract the right players with CL football they could become top 4 regulars
4). Liverpool/Arsenal - Liverpool look very strong where-as Arsenal Look like they could be slipping, Tough choice But If Pool don't make 5th place and no EL I think they could edge it
5). Liverpool/Arsenal -
6). Tottenham - Think the other 5 clubs are to strong for them, Swimming out of their depth atm
I expect Stoke to be a dark horse

I know it sounds daft, But I just got a funny feeling that this year was a one-off and they will drop to 4th, (Possibly 3rd) next year,
