It just looks like New Zealand don't even try. They don't play physical and slip up to many times giving the Mexicans easy goals.

4 -- Elliott, Boyens, Boxall, and Gleeson. No idea if any of them played though -- but I heard Boxall was slated to start.

Am I the only one who thinks that Guardado is hugely overrated and kind of a cancer to the team. I see him play and I just don't see what people like about him so much. But like always, he gets an assist or a shit goal and people say he played a brilliant game.
Barrera, Juarez, and maybe even Rodriguez shouldn't be called to the National team for a while. It directly contradicts what De la Torre promised when he took the job. If they don't play in their, lets face it, crap teams then don't call them. Maybe that will take away their attitude that they are better than everyone else. If you don't play in your team you shouldn't get called up.
Duenas, Sinha, and Talavera. Seems that no matter who the manager is, he will always call his buddies.

That's how it's always been since i can remember. De la torre is just another manager with no backbone who calls up his compas. i don't think he even wanted to suspend Corona, the FMF prolly forced him to. He's also suppose to be big on discpline, but it's obvious he'll call him up again, even though Corona is a freaking savage.
Barrera is fast and good at dribbling past someone, but can't seem to deliver a decent cross. Guardado is a good player, it's just that he's quite injury prone. Its hard to see him play at his full potential most of the time.

Re: Mexico vs New Zealand
Guardado was really special in his Youth days, now he lost his form. I think it's because his move to Europe TBH, he's settled down playing a mid table club with little hopes of winning anything and no one to fight his position with. So he's comfortable at where he's at.
