Never works like that. Once you get there the prices don't go down much, ask Leeds.

It is good to see someone has some values and feels for the common man. If I had an empty spot on a board for an important organization I would put this guy on my board.CTFC~ced wrote:
One of the boardroom members at QPR resigned last night as he felt that strongly against the rise in ticket prices and wanted no part in it.

And then subsequently watch your important organization go bankrupt.
It's called the market. It's called supply and demand. It's called business. This isn't a charity organization.

It's about not shittin on your own door step! Clubs should care about fans not try and squeeze every penny out of them without the fans the clubs wouldn't of got into the position they are today. It's expensive to go and watch football every week every season but fans do it because they are commited to there clubs and want see them do better. Your post is of someone who doesn't go the match so you wouldn't understand.

Your post is of someone who doesn't understand simple economics. Of course you don't want your prices to be exorbitant. The question is where does the supply curve hit the demand curve and where can we maximize profits in the long term without causing a backlash. One guy of an entire board of directors having a moral objection does not prove that QPR has selected exorbitant prices.

No it doesn't my post doesn't mention the econonical side of it, yes clubs have to keep up with the inflation or 'cost of living' as its called but thats around 2.5% - 3% each year. Clubs take the piss QPR have increased there prices by 40% thats disgusting, Arsneal and Liverpool 6% - How in that justified? Man Utd's have increased. Prices shouldn't go up anymore than the yearly inflation or clubs will be pricing the fans out of going to games.
