don't really play FPS but may have to consider buying this..

Yeahh i'm basicly gonna buy what my mates get this or Cod and probably have the other for Xmas. As much of a great game this is sometmies to slower tempo gameplay just don't do it for me.

Do you know roughly how much it will be?

Cod will be around £45 Battlefield probably £40 but supermarkets compete to get the lowest prices. I got Cod for £25 last year.

i will get both mw3 and b3 when they come out and decide which is better

like battlefield series b3 will be more slower pace but some people like that

battlefield publishers saying it will take down cod which i dont think will happen but it is fueling those fanboys to saying this battlefield will be 'cod killer'

BF3 will beast CoD

Battlefield will be better, BF:BC2 was by far better than every CoD other than the first Modern Warfare. The team that are making MW3 will have to pull something fucking magical out of the hat to beat Battlefield here.

Although MW3 will sell more, because it'll have a load of 12 year old kids buying it to chat shit.

The beginning reminds me of Black Hawk Down and Body Of Lies.

Really liking the look of this. Reckon I'll pick it up on release instead of COD for my shooting fix.

Looks much better than COD from what I have seen, I can see my self playing this more.

This with surround sound would be amazing.

Not a fan of the Bad Company games but playing full out 64 people matches in BF2 was amazing, specially on servers where every newbie didn't just go for the planes because it was so fun to fly, hopefully it will be even better, likely to be one of the 3 games im buying this year.

Incase anyone don't know that is PC footage in the OP and afaik no console footage has been released yet.

I had a huge rant about CoD in the Modern Warfare 3 thread and criticized it for being the same every year. Same engine,same feel, same gameplay every single time. Looking at this you can tell this is a new engine and already looks better than Call of Duty. Graphics wise I suppose you could argue it's ahead of cod. But just the way they have layed out the gameplay in this short vid is great.

Your squad doesn't feel fucking invincible. In call of duty you are literally taking out armies all by yourself but here you can see that a squad is struggling against a well deployed sniper on another building, just like squad in real life would. In call of duty you are taking out sniper after sniper after sniper with no real fuss. Hopefully the online lives up to what I'm seeing here. Because that's the real money maker and that's how you really judge if it's better than CoD.

That rapes Call of Duty, I mean, I don't really play shooting games, but I've always had a thing for Battlefield, class game. Battlefield 1943

I really hope this is better than COD, looks brilliant. This could finally be the year that breaks the cycle of everyone bumming COD.

Battlefield 3 actually looks like a better version graphically of Homefront which I boguht earlier this year..

even bad company 2 is better graphics than homefront

homefront has some of worst graphics ive ever seen for a game to be relased in current times. i compare homefront graphics to cod4 infacts its almost worse

is pity because homefront is pretty cool game, i like it, is not perfect but its fun but the graphics is very shitty

Yah the graphics on Homefront are shit, but in my opinion that is OK, because they are still decent enough to play.

Homefront has proven itself as a game IMO. It's a great game, good campaign(though really short ), the multiplayer under my first impression IMO has the potential to be better than COD's and I hope in the long run, this first release was just the developers 'testing the waters' so to speak before they decide to invest in a real game with a long campaign and good graphics etc.

MW3 are scared shitless. The amount of advertising for it is insane. Watching Sky Sports News and every ad break has a MW3 advert and apparently the reveal trailer is on during the CL final

this is all me and my mate talk about it looks better with every trailer (even tho all the trailers feature the same gameplay)
