JuventusOffside Aaron Giambattista
But minor issue- "And that is that Kun Aguero simply doesn't want to join Juventus." #EndOfDebate
If that's true, then out of Inter/City/Chelsea ?

They had a mini-revolution at the club recently I think. New owners, new manager etc. Now they play 4-5-1. Either way, breaking through a side with Voronin, Kuranyi and Jakubko is no easy task.
Though I get what you are saying, I remember watching Dinamo play a Portuguese team back in 2007 or something, looked utter rubbish. The Russian league in general is really overrated IMO. Aside from the top rich clubs, the rest are shit.
I agree, i think though, there are some great individuals there, a lot of internationals, and logically you'd think, combine that with the normalized cultural style of play in Russia which is very similar to Holland that it should be good, but sometimes when I used to watch, shit just looked disorganized you know? Like the players dont know eachother. I think with every team, they got some good individuals but also a lot of garbage. I watched Dinamo play a lot cause of Danny and an aussie player, Luke Wilkshire and i wanted to start watching agains since Bruno Alves made the switch over but i just cant be bothered anymore
Exactly. It's like they are attempting to do something right, but it just doesn't work out.
You see something similar in the bottom table and lower division clubs in Poland, and in most Central/Eastern European countries.

Re: Agüero moving to City
Atletico Madrid general manager Miguel Angel Gil Marin has said star
striker Sergio Aguero will not be heading for arch rivals Real Madrid.
Argentine international Aguero, 22, has openly declared his desire to
leave Atletico and hinted his destination could be Spanish capital
neighbours Real.
But Atletico are standing firm and insist the player's buy-out clause of
€45million (£39m) was the asking place for everyone - apart from Real
Madrid.
"He (Aguero) is not going to go to Real Madrid," Gil Marin said in El Larguero.
"I called (Real president) Florentino (Perez) to ask him if we could
maintain this commitment to not being hostile and he agreed.
Negotiate
"Either a club, that is not Real Madrid, comes in and puts €45m on the
table or he stays at Atletico Madrid. We don't want to negotiate with
anyone."
English trio Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked
with Aguero, but so far Juventus are the only side to officially
register their interest.
"Atletico Madrid don't have any offers, only a fax from Juventus saying they want to negotiate," Gil Marin said.
"It is a letter saying they are keen to negotiate, but Atletico don't want to negotiate."
Atletico want an end to the saga within the next fortnight and have set a 15th June deadline to conclude any deal.
"We want a decision before 15th June because it is a decision that has huge implications on our sporting plan," Gil Marin added.

Re: Agüero moving to City
Bookies favorite is Real Madrid, with Liverpool second.
Going to be interesting where he is going to end up. Not many clubs can afford him, and he defiantly wants to leave.

Re: Agüero moving to City
For a while it seemed as if Barcelona was going to be his likely destination, but it seems he may betray Atletico and go to Real Madrid now.
I'm sorry but I just can't see him moving to Liverpool. Wouldn't be too much of a step up for him as Liverpool only came 6th last year.

Andres - What do you think is worse, Torres going to Chelsea, or Aguero going to Real? Or just as bad as each-other?
Just to get your perspective after Torres said it would be un-ethical for Aguero to join Real, followed by Liverpool fans going mad..

Many Liverpool fans have already said that they don't expect to sign him and you would expect him to want ot go to a bigger club that is more likely to gain success.

Re: Agüero moving to City
Liverpool and Chelsea is hardly a close rivalry. The way i see it is Fernando just moved to another club in the league, nothing more.luke. wrote:Andres - What do you think is worse, Torres going to Chelsea, or Aguero going to Real? Or just as bad as each-other?

It's comparable to Dani Alves moving from Sevilla to Barca in 2008. Large geographical distance separating the clubs, no history of a rivalry, and both clubs competing at or near the top at the time.

Funny you should say that, because nobody actually said that Torres to Chelsea was worse, and nobody got mad, most people just laughed.luke. wrote:Andres - What do you think is worse, Torres going to Chelsea, or Aguero going to Real? Or just as bad as each-other?

Also, it's not like the rivalry between Chelsea and Liverpool just started a few years ago. There's always been a dislike. My Dad hated them, my Grandad still does. They use to travel down to London and have £10/£20 notes waved at them. There's always been an intense dislike between the posh tory cunts around the Chelsea are and Liverpudlians, a rivalry intensified during the Thatcher years

They've just made a bid for Lukaku, so doubt it.
That would leave them with Torres, Drogba, Anelka, Kalou, Sturridge, Lukaku & Aguero
Probably Liverpool & City.
