It was a dive. No appeal from the player. Plus technically, Luton had an advantage anyway.

In Scotland, they'd probably end up in a Europe spot.Jelavic18|RFC wrote:CollieBuddz wrote:Wouldn't it be funny if someone bought AFC Wimbledon and moved them to Scotland or something
What would be the point in that?
At this moment in time they are moving up the leagues.
In Scotland they wouldn't get out of the 3rd division.ijokelol

The funny thing is, Jelavic hasn't replied to it with a or anything which must mean it's actually a plausible scenario.CollieBuddz wrote:polska. wrote:In Scotland, they'd probably end up in a Europe spot.Jelavic18|RFC wrote:CollieBuddz wrote:Wouldn't it be funny if someone bought AFC Wimbledon and moved them to Scotland or something

They could always buy the ground off Kingstonian and kick Kingstonian FC out and relocate there on a permanent basis

They've got three years to sort out a new ground apparently.
So they could:
a) Buy the ground off Kingstonian like you said and develop it.
b) Develop the ground alongside Kingstonian.
c) Groundshare with someone else with a bigger ground - Palace maybe?
d) Develop a new ground elsewhere.
Although, c, is extremely unlikely. I'd edge more towards the first two, as the rent for a ground share would probably be too high at the moment. They haven't really got a massive budget.

isn't that how Wimbledon got into this mess in the first place?
Yeah they are. Lost in the play offs this season. Think it'll be their 3rd or 4th season in the Evo Stick Premier next season.Weather130 wrote:I wish that FC United of Manchester was going into the Football League right now but the last few years they have stalled and have not had any promotions.
