MK Dons' Ground

The inhabitants of Milton Keynes all support Liverpool/United/Arsenal/fuck else. Now there is a new local club, you can't expect them all to suddenly change their support for Milton Keynes. It's not exactly surprising they don't have a large attendance yet. It takes a generation to build a fanbase IMO.

But if they had gone bust, the club would have ceased to exist?

True, they have put alot of emphasis on growing young support, therefore creating a larger support in the future.

Don't try and justify MK Dons' placement in the Football League Only a mug would.

Really hope that AFC Wimbledon can overtake them, would be justice.

Correct. Someone said earlier about how the Club are trying to appeal to the younger generation, to kickstart a proper following.

The amount of fans the club has, for a team that's only been here for 7 years, is quite big.

Really doubt it. Mk Dons are a club on the rise. Since being relegated to League 2 in their first season, they've won the League, gotten promoted and now are fighting at the top end of the League 1.

You are now playing in the Merseyside Leagues whilst random York folk can enjoy having a Premiership team.

But it's the fact that their club was used to form another instead of the owners helping them.

Am I the only one who is looking forward to seeing a fierce rivalry between MK and AFC in 10-20 years time?

Course it makes a difference. Every other club that starts again has to go to the bottom, MK Dons effectively skipped 10+ years.

Yes, because there won't be. AFC won't have one.

Anyway. Like I said. I'm not an MK Dons fan. I follow them because they're local and I have mates who support them/talk about them/go to games. And also, like I said, I doubt I'll be living in Milton Keynes for much longer.

No rules against it. There's nothing legally wrong about it, it's the morals about the deal.

Btw the ground is so close to me it's unreal.

Takes about a minute and a half of walking to actually be able to see it.

I think they tightened the rules AFTER the MK Dons thing happened though.

A lad i know took a shit right in the middle of the Mk Dons toilets when we visited, he also wore a AFC Wimbledon shirt

Hates the franchise he does.
