only lived in Portugal for a few months as an infant, never been back since. neither of my parents are Portuguese. moved all around Eastern Europe wherever my old man had to go for work. came here to the States for college. moved to NY for work, been here ~3 yrs, the longest i've stayed in one place. might move out in about a year or so to a place not so expensive and not so loud. probably back to pennsvaylnia where i went for college
Where in Europe?
estonia, yugoslavia (then was), finland, germany, romania. and those are only the ones in europe. followed my dad into asia as well

broken german, broken english. i can read/write, but i can't speak/hear either language well. my primary language still is english though. i went to international school before college in USA so english was the only language i was consistently learning throughout my childhood. took french and spanish as secondaries but only because i was forced. didn't really care much about them

Wait, does that mean you aren't really native or fluent in any language?

fluent is a vague term. there's reading, writing, speaking, and hearing. then there's conversational language and formal language.
reading/writing is easy because you have time to think about what you want to say and how you want to say it. but when it comes to speaking, you don't have that luxiry. hearing/understanding you only need to understand 80% and the rest you can easily guess by context
in the long run, i think i can be completely "fluent" in english. i'm staying in USA for good now that i'm an independent. i don't like moving around. hard to make friends and keep girlfriends
