Are QPR a 1 man team?

Re: Are QPR a 1 man team?
No, the team's tactics are built around supporting one specifically productive player, thus they aren't a one-man-team.
A one man team would be a team where a player carries the team to results whilst the rest of the team is shit. For example Artur Boruc and Poland in EURO2008.

They just had a bad game.
Despite being in the relegation zone Scunthorpe can play some good football. Best side at Vicarage Road this season.

He does that.
Hence today they lose 4.1 away at the worst team in the divison.

This following things will happen in this thread:
Plastics will disagree with James based on what they see on the FLS
Real fans will agree with James, and say they have a fairly average/good Championship squad, but have one excellent player that makes the difference

Nah. Scunthorpe are really the worst team in the league.

I agree with James. They drew vs us and Taarabt had a shocker.

Re: Are QPR a 1 man team?
Your saying Taarabt has single handedly got QPR 9 points clear? Yes he has a huge influence on the club but to say that to a club leading by that much is a bold statement.

I think Taarabt is definately worth at least them 9 points, probably more. There is numerous times that he has won them games.
Without him I think they would be back in the playoff pack rather then the automatic pack.
And Zzzzonked is right, i've been saying this for a while now. Today was just the perfect time to post it in a thread seeing as they lost to the worst team in the league.

They do rely upon him heavily. Would I call them one man team, though? No. He's been out a few games and they still managed to win. This is just a freak result.
Even if they are considered a 1 man team I don't think they give a shit, they're going up to the Prem.

He's been out for only two games this season in the league and the other game they won 1-0.

At the end of the day it dosen't matter if you think this. You're sitting their laughing at them, but QPR are 9 points clear at the top of the Championship, so their methods are clearly working.

I don't mind hanging around in this league. Infact, it is the best thing for us.
And while we are in this league, we are gonna break some club records and hopefully get out of here next season.

No. Against Sheff Utd Taarabt was awful and they won convincingly, the likes of Derry and Routledge were quality. One game..

Wish Spurs still had him. But we probably wouldn't use him at all just like Dos Santos and Rose

Dos Santos should probably move on. He is a decent talent but is getting wasted with no game time at spurs.
When did he last even come on as a sub?

only in league cup matches and stuff like that mostly..then we sign Pienaar when we hit injury troubles when Dos Santos should've never been loaned out..Pienaar has been pretty unimpressive
