Your First Goal

Describe the first goal you ever scored for a team.

Mine was when I was 5 (first season, 3rd game) and the ball rolled out of the big pack of kids and I ran and kicked it in between the cones. Was a very proud moment for me and my family, my grandparents have a video of it

Well I was nine, playing in a proper 11 vs 11 match. Someone lofted the ball over to me, I took it down perfectly on the chest, turned, looked at the goal and just smashed it. It dipped right in the opposite top corner.










Honestly I'm just a keeper, so I don't remember.

I have no fucking clue

I was 5, In a 7-a-side game, and the ball rolled out infront of goal and I just struck it and it flew in bottom corner, it was to close to the post for the keeper to even get it.

I don't remember my first ever goal. I can remember my first goal in 11 a side though. A tap in against Byron Thistle in the last minute.

Well I played Gaelic when I was young but I can still remember my first point.

First goal I can remember was a free-kick I bent in from around 20 yards in an 8 a side match when I was about 6.

First 11 a side proper goal I scored was a few games in and I lobbed the goalkeeper from the halway line and laughed as he fell on his arse trying to get back.

Can't remember the type of game or anything.

I was very small though, and I think I was playing with older kids.

I kicked the ball and it went in. I was so happy I was running around in circles and everything.

Then this older kid said it took a deflection and wasn't my goal (he was on my team).

I will find him one day.

My first one in a proper 11-a-side game was when I was 13 in an intramural high school game. It was basically a break in midfield, with me and two other team-mates vs. their goalkeeper. The guy with the ball decided to pass it to me to finish instead of scoring himself. Very decent of him.

I only scored two more goals in high school after that. Both of them were penalties.

I was in year 6 so I think 11ish?
There goalkeeper made a save. He dropped the ball thinking that no one could touch it before he kicked it. So I ran in and slotted it into bottom corner.

Ahh I remember my first goal. I was 6/7 at the time.
someone took a shot and it was blocked.. ball came to me and I took a shot (snapshot )...It went past 3 players' legs and the goal keeper couldn't see it because the defenders were blocking his view....it felt great
Proud moment

Under 10's level. I had always played in defence but as it was the last game of the season our manager let me play up front. I skinned 3 players then blasted it into the corner of the goal.

Only scored one goal, and I mainly played left back. Hit the crossbar a few times, hit the post a few times too.

Semi Final, 5 minutes to go. Drawing, and we were shit at Penalities . I was about 30 yards out, and the ball rolled to me. I thought, might aswell have a pop. So I ran to hit it. I put everything into it. After I hit it, I closed my eyes (Don't know why ). Then I opened them to see the ball flew into the corner off the net, with keeper diving after it.

Ball hit the net, and I just stood there in shock. Then I went to celebrate, never celebrated before started jumping like a twat. Looked at our clubs parents, there were going mad. Turned around and me captain was there and ran over to him. Then we had a team hug

My only goal.

Them the manager dropped me in the final, and lied saying he would bring me on as a sub.

I can not remember. It was a long long time ago.

Think I just lashed it into the bottom corner from around 15 yards. Can't really remember tbh, that probably wasn't my first. :.

I've been scoring goals since I was a fetus. Far too many to remember actually so I can't tell you. I'll let you rookies tell the stories though, don't want to steal your thunder.

I can't remember at all, I remember playing for a team and scoring loads, but don't remember the first.

Fuck that can't remember my first goal, can't remember most of them in fact only the real important ones.

Plenty of goals, plenty of goals. First goal for Spurs when I was 9. Against Wrexham, ran off into the corner, did a big slide into the mud and everyone followed. Proud moment for myself.

cant rememebr my first goal but can remember my first try (Rugby) it was just before the half way line and i pretty much ran from there and next thing you now i was scored but took me a whiloe to reliese that you have to put the ball down on the ground all my team mates where shouting at me to put it down

Don't remember my first goal exactly, but when I was younger I played in a shit team and was expected to be the playmaker and top scorer at the same time which I managed
Even received the number 10 shirt

I only remember the first goal of one of my mates lol, he was the right back of our team, decent defensively but not very good technically and offensively, but in a game he got forward for a corner, ball was cleared and he tried to smash it but only produced a very crappy shot which was deflected and eventually rolled awfully slow into the back of the net, the keeper should have saved it though

I remember that goal as well.

I was 9, a holding midfielder who tried to play a long through ball which was assisted by the wind from the half-way line into the back of the net.

Probably came on Christmas Day during WW1 on the battlefield.
