England have managed 7 goals already but you're still happy for him to see him go?

No I was just putting all the different ones in that I found good...
But in general yes. I want an English manager. Doesn't feel right without one.
I don't care how he's done so far, he did the same thing in qualifications for the WC.

I wonder how many uncapped French men Wenger would call up if he become England manager?

He's a great manager but the FA did say the next England manager will be English which can only be a good thing.

It'll be an English manager for the World Cup qualies then, won't it? Either Pearce, Hodgson or Redknapp probably.

Re: Capello leaving in 2012
as bad as England were in SA, and we were bad! who are the alternatives to Fab? an English alternative? remember 4 years ago Steve McClaren was the best option! i'd rather have another foreign coach than a second rate Englishman.
hopefully 'Arry will have a good couple of years at spuds. if he achieves the unthinkable and wins the CL then he'd be the only option and he is old school so managing England is the pinnacle for him as a manager! he reminds me alot of Terry Venables (good points & bad).

agreed. as much as i love pshyco, i would want him in full time management to prove himself worthy although perhaps he could prove his worth with the U21's!
Woy & 'Arry to battle it out for the next 2 years. to the victor, the spoils!
bumcunts (still loving the swearing!)

My beef with Capello is just that he's italian.
Surely if England are to win a competition, having an Italian manager kind of makes it the Italian's cup too, because the manager is the mastermind behind it. It should not just be English players but an English manager, else its not just an English victory.

I remember thinking at the time that Big Sam would get the England job in 2012, but that is seeming very unlikely right now.

I don't understand why foreign managers accept the England job. Too much shit to put up with and you are going to fail in the end. It has to be the money.

And what does that have to do with anything I just said?
