    Egypt all the way! cheers

Our team is supposedly better than when we hosted the tournament in 2009. We have a better coach and our players are more experienced. It should be interesting to see how our team does without 80,000+ fans behind them.

Ecuador are a really good side. They should qualify out of that group with Spain.

Highly unlikely. He'll be in the Copa America squad. The only reason he was called up for the Qualifying tournament was to ensure that Brazil qualified for the Olympics.

    From those I know.

Colombia: Edwin Cardona (CAM), Manga (ST, that's his nickname, I don't remember his real name Laughing), Caicedo (ST), Arias (RB).
France: Lacazette (ST/RF), Griezmann(LWM), Kakuta, Fofana (CM), Bakambu (ST)
Spain: Usual suspects: Thiago, Koke (RWM), Bartra (CB), I guess the some people would add Pacheco but he didn't impress me TBH.
Uruguay: Polenta (LB), Adrian Luna (RWM)
Brazil: Casemiro (CDM), Willian Jose (ST), Danilo (RB/CM),
Argentina: Mosca (CM), Zuculini (CM), Iturbe (CF)
Ecuador: Quinonez (CB), Caicedo (ST0, Montano (ST), another guy whose names with C who I can't recall. Jaramillo (Gk)

This is working off the last squads and guessing who will and will not be called up. For example Lucas will probably not be called up for Brazil. He is already too important to Sao Paulo.

It serves both purposes in South America. Top 4 go to the U20's (plus Colombia since this year since they're the hosts), but only top two go the Olympics.

It sure is a bummer that the USA missed out on this, we have a great youth soccer program so I have no idea what actually happened here to cause us to miss out on this.

the team panicked when things werent going well, but it was a hard place to play at to play infront of all those home fans though. but im sure the experienced helped them nonetheless

still is a pity as the world cup squad(had we qualified) would of been a lot different to the squad that failed to qualify

The u20's is probably the least important age group at international level.

By this time if you're not good enough for the u21's they just lump you into the u20's......

At least that's how England do it Neutral...it's like a b/c team.

because england are stupid, and you wonder why england can never get the hosting rights for any tournaments, fifa consider the u20 world cup as the second most prestigious international tournament in the world and most countries do as well. course its going to have ramifications if england send an amateur team like they did last time where almost the entire squad ended up in the conference and league 2
