    NOTTINGHAM Forest's Ewan Hunter has been named npower Championship Groundsman of the Year.

    Hunter, who has been in the position at the City Ground since 2005, held off competition from Burnley and Norwich to win the prestigious award.

    Hunter also won the IOG Groundsman of the Year award in 2008.



    Best pitch in the Championship. Won't be the only award won by the club this year Cool

    Our groundsmen is much better. The pitch may not be immaculate but if the game is in danger of being postponed because of the weather then our groundsmen are the best to prevent that.

    Same with ours, only game at Pride Park ever to be called off was due to some power failure a few months ago.

    Our pitch is 13 years old when it's supposed to last just 11 years.....and Saracens play on it all season too.

    I think our groundsman do a fantastic job even if it isn't silk smooth (which is way too much to ask).

    Hopefully our new owners can get in a brand new turf, and Saracens are being told to fuck off as well.
