How did Barcelona react Guardiola's 'outburst'? AS reports whole squad & staff gave him a standing ovation when he returned to hotel

Interesting. He came off like a whiney bitch to me, but maybe whiney bitchiness comes off as a great smack in Spanish.

Seemed reasonable to me...just said Mourinho would beat him in a war of words so he'll see what happens on the pitch.

Puyol at LB?
And is it true that Iniesta is out injured? Read it in the paper...

Yes.
He's a better left back than Arsenal have.

After Real beat Barca in the spanish cup chances are this will be even more heated and intense than the previous fixtures. Real will want to show that they are better than Barca, and Barcelona will want revenge for the cup and prove that they are the best. Should be a cracker of a match.

"He's the fucking Chief" and "he's the fucking man" from a guy who never gets worked up about anything? I dunno.

He was pissed off no doubt, but he was still reasonable with his words.
I don't really buy into the mindgames talk. If Barcelona win tonight it has nothing to do with Pep "winning" a mind game battle with Mourinho, likewise if Barca lose Pep didn't crumble under Mourinho's words.
And I doubt the likes of Messi/Xavi etc give a shit either so I don't know why the media are hyping this so much.

Clichy can go to Juve imo as long as we buy Cissokho or Tremoulinas.
There's a good preview on tonight's match, guy is right all the time.

What do you guys think Madrids approach to the match will be? Pepe in the mid again? I personally think Barca is going to attack, attack, attack, not that they ever stray away from that.

I think they'll be more progressive, high line, high pressure (tons of players were rested on the weekend, should be close to 100%) and going for the win. They could win (the tie) with one goal, or even a scoreless draw here and trying to knick one in Barcelona, but the easiest way would be to try to win this leg.

Pepe in defensive mid, Alonso right in front of him. Ronaldo in the middle with Di Maria on the left wing and probably Özil behind Ronaldo or to the right of him.
I reckon they'll try to emulate how they played in the Copa del Rey.

They need to win this leg and hope not to surrender an away goal. If they do, they need to win 3-1ish like Inter last year so that when they go to Camp Nou, they can play this
-----------------Casillas-----------
Ramos Albiol Pepe Carvalho Marcelo
Ronaldo Khedira Alonso Di Maria Ozil
