Meh, Merlin, Camelot and Sparatcus are much better imo.

Camelot? That's been canceled btw. Spartacus is better for me, but different sort of series. Merlin is good for what it is, but not mature enough or however you call it.

What the fuck, why did they cancel Camelot? I fucking loved that show.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
So did I. Mainly because of Merlin and Eva Green. I mean, she is fit. Don't exactly why they canceled it, but it's a damn shame. Not many tv shows that I actually can watch without giving up after ten minutes.

There it is. If they cancelled it because of the Arthur actor, well I thought he was way too scrawny and mouse-faced for the role of a legendary fighting king anyway. Prick he is.

If it's actor related then I'm not surprised, looked dodgy from the start I must admit.

When they said the show is expanding.. No wonder they can only manage ten episodes a season. HBO better not cancel it and the director better not kick a fit either.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
Unfortunately I think the show might go the way of Rome. The budget needed to fully recreate the enormity of the books is going to swallow it whole.
MAJOR SPOILER
MAJOR SPOILER
- Spoiler:
- As long as they get to the fight between Oberyn and The Mountain then I'll be good.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
Such a shame about Rome. The thing is, this is far more popular than Rome. I sincerely hope it manages to get through all of the books. HBO is the perfect show for it, but then again HBO cancelled Rome.

Oh, and if anyone comments on that major spoiler without spoilering, I will hunt you down and kill your children.

You have been warned. I hate spoilers, Rei was kind enough to keep me in the dark last season. Could well have Ned Starked us.

What a scene this was.
That was briliant. He got what he wanted.
Witch, a girl question. Which set of girls are better (Even though there are few in GOT's) Spartacus' or GOT's?

Brilliant question, I've got a lot of time for such admiration.
First must asses.
We have on Spartacus.
GOT
Next season.
GOT takes it for me, more elegance about them.

Agreed. I love Ilithyia, but, there are few better than Emilia Clarke (Shares my name.) I was about to say I never seen the 3rd girl. And then the MILF who fucked her brother

That MILF was Leonidas' wife in 300. Really rate her, again great casting.
How sexy was this bit?
My word.

That 3rd woman was Anne Bolyn in The Tudors. Fine, fine woman.

Was incredible. I loved her May watch that scene again.
I know you probably knew it was coming (as did I) but, did you ever once feel saddened or as some fans said betrayed by the beheading of Eddard? I remember hearing that loads of fans were furious at the producers.

I was distraught at first. Like many I was expecting some last minute intervention. I took it worse than others because I idolise Sean Bean and I loved his character. I first heard of the series because of him. Couldn't believe it, but I commend the producers for not holding back. But I harbour some anger towards Russel or whatever the author's name is.

They couldn't exactly make up some bs way to let him live when his death in the book affects so much of what happens.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
I think it was mainly down to the fact that the protagonist was killed before the seasons end.
