They have more than one. It's mentioned in the books, but you also see Tyrion greeting them last episode.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
I think Theon's sister was portrayed as a bit too submissive. In the book she was more assertive and commanding.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
The show didn't really cover the stuff about the mad king etc.
I read a bit of the book (a couple of chapters) but I forgot it all.
Were the Geryjoy's previously kings?

Yeah. The Starks kicked their asses and made them vassals instead. They took Theon to live at Winterfell as a hostage.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
Robert actually did that. Ned just kind of countered them when they attacked Seagard. It is described in the book in Theon's thoughts that Robert was the one that attacked Pyke and then sent him to Winterfell.Rei Andros wrote:Yeah. And they aren't vassals, they are still a separate house. Theon was sent to Winterfell so Balon would not be aggressive in the future. He was basically leverage.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
Vassals, Banner men, same difference. And I'm sure the Starks were involved in subduing House Greyjoy. Balon even mentioned it in the episode when he talked about the death's of Theon's brother.
Leverage, hostage. Again, what's the difference?

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
- Spoiler:
- Why was Rakharo killed? It makes no sense.
Why aren't Daenery's other bloodriders in the show? Jhogo and Aggo are also pretty important you know. And for that matter, Rakharo in the tv series is portrayed as Jhogo. Jhogo is supposed to be the young 16 year old. Rakharo is supposed to be the big guy sporting a moustache.
In the previous season I've come to realize that they didn't bother showing the final fight where Drogo's bloodbrothers are killed by Rakharo, Jhogo, Aggo and Mormont. They only showed Mormont killing Qotho. It is not like it is expensive to film a fight scene.
We also missed the fantastic scene where Daenerys asks Rakharo, Jhogo and Aggo to be her bloodriders despite Dothraki tradition and culture (and being a bloodrider of a women being an insult) as well as Daenerys asking Jorah Mormont to be the first of her Queensgaurd. We missed out basically.

Ssssssh.
Just watched the 4th episode from the 1st series. Enjoying it so far, Tyrion is an awesome character
I like how they show the different families The Lannisters and the Starks etc. Although Dragon and the dothraki feel a bit disconnected at the moment.

If you didn't know, the two siblings are the children of the King that Robert Baratheon and Eddard Stark overthrew. All their family was killed except for them. Viserys and his mother escaped before they were killed. Their mother died giving birth to Daenerys on an Island before they escaped to Essos (the eastern continent).
(This is episode 1 spoilers, so I don't think you will mind. )

That certainly clears it up.
I like Viserys, he's a dick but he's a cool character.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
Goes into a comment section completely unrelated to Game of Thrones.
Gets hit with a massive spoiler.
Doesn't seen sound plausible though, but I'm never scrolling down from anything from now on.
