Big Clubs getting relegated.

We've seen this happen a few times, for example, Newcastle and Leeds etc. But how likely is it that we'll ever see a repeat of this? For example, can you imagine that one day Man United, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham will be relegated? It just doesn't seem very plausible, yet it happened to Newcastle and Leeds so it's not impossible.

In our life-time, do you think one or more of these clubs will ever end up being relegated? Or are they just too powerful financially?

(The same goes for other big Leagues like Spain and Italy)

On the note of big clubs being relegated, it is nearly certain both Sheffield clubs (United + Wednesday) will be playing in Npower League 1 next season. What a fall from grace for the city of Sheffield.

Technically it's relegation, but from playing standards it's not because they weren't relegated on poor performances like every other club who gets relegated does

I think its perfectly possible for any other team to be relegated, it was only a few months ago we were wondering if liverpool could be relegated, Tottenham were down at the bottom end only a couple of years ago with a similar team to what they have now etc. I dont see whats so funny about my post

Aston Villa maybe but are they considered a big club?

Everton I reckon could be on their way soon, with the lack of funds and the PL getting more competitive I can see them going down within the next 5 years.

Man City are a yo-yo club... even though they have the billions at the moment I reckon they'll get relegated again in around 20 years. Each season we spend with Kenwright in charge is another season closer to relegation - so I wouldn't be surprised if we're relegated in the next 5-10 years

Man United 10-15 Years......................Liverpool 25 years +..................City 20-23 Years..............Arsenal 40-60 years......Everton 5-10 years.........Aston Villa 4-8 years...........Spurs 15-18 years.
