Well, he probably does look up to Ronaldo, tell me who doesn't want to be more like him as a player that plays in his position? Neutral

I can guarantee if Nani was playing for Liverpool you'd be like oh why isn't Nani in there, been the best this season and deserves to win it, I just know you would.

Ronaldo was the best player in the world, and was usually unplayable. He scored a record number of goals (or something like that) Yes, he'd dive a lot, but he did not act like Nani at all. Nani rolls about and looks as if he's going to cry. Nani has such a punch-worthy face. Nani is just such a cheating cunt on the pitch.

Comparing Ronaldo and Nani is silly. Nani is no where NEAR as good as Ronaldo ever was. In fact, I just see Nani as a wannabe Ronaldo, but failing.
You really are a fucking idiot Scott.

Ronaldo wannabe? The boy is playing as a winger and not playing like Ronaldo, he has more assists than Ronaldo did and less goals, so it's pretty obvious he's not playing like Ronaldo.. he's playing his own game and has been the best player in the league.

Not much of a failure. Rolling Eyes

No, it's the way he plays. He even copies Ronaldo's free kick stance. It's cringe-worthy.
Nani's a proper winger, and has a fuck load of assists more than Ronaldo, so he's clearly not copying his game. Just over a year ago the penny dropped for Nani- whatever it exactly was, who knows. But most people put it down to stopping trying to copy Ronaldo, and he's playing his own game. You're talking shite.

Nani definitely has his own style, I don't want to say old fashioned winger, cause that's cliche, but he's more orthodox than Ronaldo ever was.

I would actually hate it if we had someone like Nani in the team. Would just be embarrassed every time he rolls about crying wolf.

I must admit I did have reservations about this. But what I love about Suarez, is that when he gets hacked down, unless he's genuinely hurt, he gets straight back up. He often sits on his knees and waves an imaginary card in frustration, but in no way at all, does he even come close to Nani in the way he acts on the field.

"One of the best" then? That better? Rolling Eyes

Either way, his form over the past year- not many players in the world have matched him or been better. You'd fucking love him in your team. Nani crossing in towards Carroll, Suarez.. Johnson on the overlap so he could cut inside. On paper that's pretty brilliant. Laughing

Make a thread. Who's better, Nani or Suarez? Because that's what this is going to turn into.

Fuuuuck, we all have our mad moments. Nani does that every other week, that's the difference. Suarez has not acted even remotely like that since he's joined us. smug

A fantastic passing range. But doesn't keep hold of it enough. It'd be interesting to see how he'd adapt at a top club.
