I didn't say they're a bad side, but they're nowhere near Arsenal. They have some good players like Nilmar, Rossi
Valero, Cazorla, Capdevila etc but to say they're better than Arsenal is ridiculous.
They are better than Arsenal, and you come with the usual names you probably got from playing FIFA11.
And I don't know Villareal from FIFA 11
I watch La Liga enough to judge them.
I'm clearly clueless yes, you're just retarded and underrate Villarreal like hell;

Villarreal's Midfield < Yours
Villarreal's Forward > Yours

Meireles, Lucas, Spearing > Reid, Thomas, Mulumbu, Scharner
Suarez, Carroll, Kuyt > Odemwingie, Cox
West Brom 2 - 1 Liverpool.
Means fuck all.

Angel Lopez < Sagna, who is the Premier league's best RB.
Marchena > Djourou, Squillaci and Koscielny, but < Vermalen
Capdevila = Clichy imo.
Villareal midfield < Arsenal midfield
Rossi and Nilmar < RVP and in form Chamakh
Then look who's every year in the CL, 2nd best team in the world's best league, etc.

La Liga? Two of the world's best teams, but not even a two horse race anymore More like one horseEl Pipita wrote:Premier League is nowhere near being the best league especially not this season clueless fuck.
Serie A? Many think it's boring, but I really like it, but not better than the PL.
Bundesliga? Very competitive, but lacking the big stars and sometimes quality.
Stop talking shit mate, the Premier League is widely considered as the world's best league, most competitive and most entertaining as well.
Either your football knowledge fits on a rice grain, or you're just a troll.

Ok back on topic, Thiago will be the next Xavi with his sideways and backwards passing, or more like the next Michael Carrick

The boy is far more attacking minded than Xavi. His footwork is faster, almost like Iniesta, and his vision and ability to read the field of play is very good. He's easily in the same mould as Iniesta, only that his passing and playmaker potential is, I believe, higher. From what I've seen he's not really the next Xavi as much as the next quality Barcelona midfielder to come out of their academy. I see more Iniesta in him than Xavi at any point.

Re: Thiago Alcantara
No, but I think he's overrated. He very rarely does that pinpoint pass through five defenders, even though he clearly has the ability to do that. And I hardly ever see him attempting long balls.Fine Shagger wrote:All Xavi does is sideways/backwards pass?

Pirlo in his prime > Xavi imo

I see him as a mix of the two. He moves the ball around like Xavi and is involved in the play a lot which is more Xavi than Iniesta but as you say he dribbles like Iniesta too.
Then throw in a Ronaldinho no look pass into the mix and you have Thiago.

What? He plays pinpoint through balls to Alves game after game after game after game. He doesn't play many long balls because he doesn't need to, there is always a free man close to Xavi, he's the playmaker so it's natural to play many short passes rather than going longer.

Yeah, but it's already been announced he's moving to the senior squad so either he's agreed a new deal(not signed yet) or his contract had a clause which extended it if he was promoted.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
People talking about Xavi's range of passing and passing forward, he splits defences open every week with runs from Alves, Messi, Villa, Pedro and so on, whoever thinks he passes sideways and backwards is absolutely clueless.

Ah right cool.
You reckon he'll get alot of game time next season with the seniors? From what I've read he plays in the middle and that's were the class is in Xavi and Iniesta

In England the Premier League is considered as the best in the world, in every other country it is not. Shows how the English overrate everything, they even thought they had chance at the World Cup.
