The point I have been making all thread is Wilshere is currently the better player. Tiago may have more talent but right now he has only shown glimpses. For all we know in a full season he could be inconsistent.

Wilshere has fucking bossed the world's best midfield, Thiago can complete 123 passes agains Villareal, most of them were sideways and backwards, he might have some potential, but Wilshere is already an England starter and one of the standout performers of Arsenal.

Disagree. I said a few weeks ago that Thiago is the more talented of the two but Wilshere just gets more chances to show his talent. Thiago is fucking insane, potential is sky high.

Let me say that again, with short passes he's good, spots the passes etc and he does switch play.. but he doesn't seem to smash 40 yard passes.. maybe he does and I'm just not seeing them.

He's not asked to do that though, yes he does look for close passes but he's a box to box midfielder at Arsenal when he's very capable and has shown he can string long passes. I see what you're saying but he's more than capable

Yeah, by talent I mean what he can do when he has the ball. Wilshere is a better player off the ball at the minute though.

a) disagree with more talented as well, I admit I haven't seen many games in where he's played, but I still think Wilshere is more talented. If you can boss the world's best midfield with just 19, you'll most likely be one of the world's best in the years to come.
b) I was in a pub where they showed both Barca and Milan vs Inter, admit I've watched the Milan game more, but I've seen enough of Thiago in that game to judge him.

With point a, I should clarify I think you can boss a midfield without being talented. Before you rant at me I'm not saying Wilshere isn't talented...I'm just saying that his determination and the pressure he put on Barca was more important that night than his actual talent.
