His best position is an attacking midfielder.kyro7 wrote:Well Rooney isn't a left winger, so maybe we will score again.Jord wrote:"Maybe we we'll actually score now". Yes, sounds like we haven't already scored. But we have so I obviously mean maybe we will score again. But that sounds shit, so I wanted to take a small dig at Rooney. jjndfjhjghhcuntkkhjvkhiun

playing against this shit wales team, any decent international side would be 4+ goals ahead
How the fuck is it "so close" ? Wales have not had a single shot on target and rarely got into Enlands box. England could have scored a few more aswell with the chances created
one goal for wales (could have happened, they got into some great positions this half) and its not so comfortable
2-0 is not a safe score anymore
Spain beat the Czech's 2-1
Italy beat Slovenia 1-0
France beat Luxembourg 2-0
England winning this is a good warm up, if you want to see developments watch the style of play not the scoreline

this is a good performance by england??? i dont think so, england should have had more shots without a doubt
i dont look at the scoreline but i know if Spain or Germany played this Wales side (performance) they would be 4-0 up or more and atleast with double the attempts

Solid performance from England, never felt like anything but an England win so I'm not bothered if it was 2-0 or 6-0.

Easy. They came into it a bit more in the second half, but still didn't trouble Hart. Game was wrapped up after 15 minutes.

England didn't have to pull the stops out today......it was won easily, no need to do anything silly and get suspensions or injuries.

I didn't say that did I? but now that we're on the subject it's an ok performance. England's slow tempo among other problems may dominate easy opposition but against hard opposition they'll be bent over and raped. Spain and Germany would probably be on the same scoreline, this match is meaningless therefore they wouldn't need to play their possession game/counter attacking game.
Nothing different from the casual England game

Exactly, and he wasn't that great today either
Shouldn't really be missed vs the Swiss at home.....

Rooney just wanted a longer summer break. The Swiss game is June right? Sly boy.

Well he was playing on the left wing, he's absolutely wasted out there.Lux wrote:Danny wrote:Silly Rooney.Lux wrote:England didn't have to pull the stops out today......it was won easily, no need to do anything silly and get suspensions or injuries.

Yeah, we shouldn't. Couldn't care less that he's out. Means he can get a proper rest in the summer. Fucking internationals in June...

He came into the midfield a lot, but seemed to struggle on the ball anyway. He really needs to work on his first touch....sometimes it's brilliant but it was poor today I probably showed because Wales were running after us all game and putting the pressure on...most of the players handled it better than him though.

Is it just me or is Ramsay similar to Fabregas the way he plays, his moving, passing, control. Very similar. Obviously not as good.

Think I've read somewhere he's been trying to emulate Fabregas' playing style.
Think he's going to be a class player.
