Re: Best target man in the world?
Why bother making a poll, it's obviously Kevin Davies.

Re: Best target man in the world?
Currently, Caracciolo is my favorite. But Kanoute is the best.

Re: Best target man in the world?
Carroll up there after half a good season? No chance.
I would put Kevin Davies up there. Ibrahimovic ( can he be classed as a target man?), Llorente

Re: Best target man in the world?
People usually link target men to hoof ball. Ironic that our best target man is an overrated gypsy that has played for England once.

Considering his height too, I think Davies deserves that title.

Andy Carroll winning? He's good, but the best?

Llorente.
Really wish we signed him.
(No offense to Carroll by the way)

Re: Best target man in the world?
Fernando Llorente BY FAR!!!!
Kanoute second.
Ibra is classified as a targetman?
I heard amazing things from Caracciolo as well.
I'd say Bendtner if he ever learns to dribble and control the ball, improve his first touch and finishing, can be an amazing targetman, but he's not there yet.

Re: Best target man in the world?
I just meant being good at being a target man, like winning everything and holding the ball up.

He's nothing compared to the likes of Davies and Zigic.

Is he a targetman though? I'd class him as a deep laying forward or something.
Yah I have due to FM. He doesn't look particularly special though, should move to a bigger league.mouseboy11 wrote:Have you guys heard of that lacina traore? 6 ft 7 at about 17
Oh, which reminds me, this thread has forgotten Romelu Lukaku and Khouma Babacar.
Babacar is the next Drogba IMO. Lukaku reminds me of Kanoute more.

Re: Best target man in the world?
Judging from the suggestions, I guess you mean the best Target men ATM. In which case then it's obviously Llorente.

Re: Best target man in the world?
What exactly is the definition of a target man ?
If it is wht I think it is then surely Falcao and Chamakh are good shouts ?

Falcao is a great shout.
Chamakh I'm not so sure about, then again the likes of Zigic and Davies are on the poll.
