No.. we are presuming this guy doesn't take much notice of the premier league so he has no idea how much teams have spent, all he knows is that Chelsea and United are the usual top 2 like you with Serie A. If he saw a team that has never won the premier league before come up on the league table he would be pretty shocked.

tbh that's how i felt. i don't follow EPL. i knew man city were winning at some point of the season, then were crashing. then next thing i knew, they won the league

i didn't even see/watch the final game live. i was watching inzaghi's last game instead. i think it was on at the same time. or maybe it wasn't i dunno. all i remember that day is was waking up, watching the milan game. looked up the city-qpr score, went "oh shit, they scored 2 in ET". then downloaded the match and watched it that night

Bent I highly doubt you've seen those players play

Buffon is better than Hart
Lichsteiner is better than Richards
Chiellini is better than Lescott

Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio would all get into City's midfield, or at the least compete with Toure

City's forward line is the only big improvement on Juventus.

Juventus for me have the best midfield behind Barcelona, what made me laugh when I was typing out those teams is that Juventus's 11 roughly looks like it's only cost about 50m but City have spent about 250m+ on that first 11. Laughing

And City are only marginally better if that.

He won't be playing for a while if we do, in fact, sign him. He's a 19-year-old keeper that's supposed to be the "next Buffon". I hate those sorts of labels, but he's one for the future. I definitely think he's going to be a great player though, and he can learn from Gigi.
