Had it for ages, told the rest of my family to get it too.
Speed and layout are by far better than IE, Firefox, Safari etc.

Surprised Opera isn't used more. I'd say it is near Chrome level.

Firefox is the third best tbh, but their add-ons still make it worth it for me.

Basically fan-made(sometimes made by Firefox themselves) things you can add to your browser to make your browsing experience better/or whatever.

So I was reading and apparently the upcoming version of Firefox 4.0 will be faster than both Chrome and Opera.

I've tried the new Firefox beta, it is pretty good tbh.

Will have to check if All-in-one-sidebar and Toomanytabs work for it or not before upgrading I think.

AdBlocker is on Chrome too.

Also Dan, Chrome automatically blocks the sort of pop-ups that spray you with like, 20 at once. But they don't stop the ones where when you click on something, an ad pops up.

Chrome is the best web browser out there. It's the fastest, most secure, best designed, and full of great features you won't find on any other browser. It's also the fastest updated browser among the community of browsers. It's been in creation for only 2 years and it's already on version 10! It's no wonder IE made a recent major upgrade to stop it's market share from going to Chrome and Firefox is trying to make more updates to keep up with Chrome. Safari has even almost literally copied Chrome's UI.

Chrome does look very good but I won't be changing while I am addicted to my add-ons.

Opera's latest browser LOOKS VERY VERY VERY fucking good though, and it's almost as fast as Chrome.

Have you searched for those add-ons on Chrome? Chrome has several add-ons as well. I'm pretty certain you can find most add-ons on both browsers.

Chrome hands down. I actually got a spyware/virus recently (while using Firefox in the rare instance). It redirects all Google search results to advertisement and spam sites. The virus affected IE and Firefox, but not Chrome (didn't check Safari). Also, there is this annual hacking convention with computer geeks who try to break the security of browsers. IE and Safari were first to fall. Google offered $50,000 to the first person to break through Chrome's security. Nobody has beaten it yet.

I've used Chrome since the first day it came out and I have never had one single pop-up ad.

My add-ons are user-created though. Doubt Chrome would have them.

Plus can't be arsed copy-ing my TMT tabs over. Would be painful. And I don't like the Chrome interface anyway.

I've been using Chrome for over a year and it's great. It's not slow like IE and i have Adblock which is great for those irritating Youtube commercials
